The Page of Air is the question, the curious mind willing to inquire honestly before it claims to know. In traditional tarot the Page of Swords stands alert with a raised blade, watchful and eager, the youthful energy of intellect just beginning. In the Cocoon Method, The Question is the card of curiosity and honest inquiry, the recognition that the answer often lives inside the asking. This is the mind at its freshest and most open, hungry to learn, willing to not-know long enough to discover something real. The card celebrates the courage of the genuine question and the aliveness of a mind that has not yet hardened into certainty.
Upright
When the Page of Air appears upright, a curious, inquiring energy is present. This is the willingness to ask, to learn, to follow a new idea with honest interest. The answer lives inside the asking. Reversed
Reversed, the Page of Air is the question shaped into a knife. Curiosity curdles into gossip, cleverness without depth, suspicion, the mind running faster than the heart can follow. The reversed card asks you to notice where your inquiry has become sharp or unkind, where asking has turned into probing for ammunition.
